An explanation of the Akroma

Akroma is a cryptocurrency and application development platform that focuses on governance modeling that will reward long-term sustainable development and design.

Masternodes

Masternodes help protect and scale Acroma networks by validating transactions and acting as decentralized incentives.Running method is rewarded with Akroma. The masternode layer will provide the foundation of additional features on the Akroma network. The Oracles decentralized Oracles are systems that provide intelligent contracts with data from outside the network.Oracles is one example of the type of feature that becomes possible with a dedicated server layer. The Sustainable Government The Akroma governance model focuses on creating a sustainable application development platform while contributing back to the larger community.

Problem

Akroma focuses on finding solutions to two key issues facing a decentralized application development platform. The first is to create a sustainable governance model around this new network that avoids the trap of genesis block allocation, pre-mining, and ICO fund raising as they move on to the next project. Using the lessons learned from Dash, ZCash, BitShares, and EOS, we believe that we can build a governance model that supports long-term sustainability for the Akroma project, while respecting early users.With the model of sustainable governance, we can focus on development projects, which include: design, usability, adoption, and application development.

Overview

The Akroma team has been working with a platform to decide what platform will be

built in conversation. CryptoKitties, and Ethereum scale in general.We see alternative solutions, alternating public networks, using private networks (oracle, software focus on non crypto consumers), we created the Akroma project.

Masternodes

Masternodes are a common second-layer solution for adding features to blockchain-based networks. The Akroma project intends to use this layer of masternode to reinforce developer and developer development features. This feature often requires a higher level of computing, storage, or availability. Thus, the incentivization system has been built into the Akroma core protocol that rewards the host hosted server server with AKA.

Oracles

One of the first development features we plan to add, once we have the second layer of the knot, is the Oracles concept. Oracles is a system that provides data for smart contracts. The goal of the oracle network is to develop features that can be trusted by smart contract developers to access the results of data provided to them as it will often be a catalyst for token transfers.

Oracles is a very new concept and there are several ways to implement Oracles. Oraclize and ChainLink are two unique implementations. As we develop the Akroma oracle offering, we expect both to be seen as competitors and also compatible with the Akroma project.

Technology

Akroma is a fork of Ethereal protocol implementation. This is a fork in the sense that it uses the same codebase; not the same great book Akroma is Ethereum as Litecoin is Bitcoin.

The development of decentralized platforms is expanding rapidly.As developers look to build their applications without the side effects of network congestion there are several options that arise.The first option is to build "next to" the network on which you build your app. The second option is to consider a new platform that promises better stability. The third option is the decision made by the Akroma team; stand your own network, and make it public.

Short Term Road Map

There are some important events to come:
Hard Fork in Block 300K.
This hard fork will include the code needed for Masternodes and will change the bonus block to reflect this addition. Gift block after block 300K will be 7/2/1 (Foundation of Miners / Masternodes / Akroma).
March 1, 2018 - Starting the Alpha Programs Massaode
Participation in the alpha program will be limited to a small group of randomly selected participants from a group of users signing up for alpha.
Alpha program participants will receive 1% of the address balance holding the Masternode portion of the gift block to avoid unfairly selected participants at random.
Alpha masternode The program participant must have the 5K Akroma required to run the Masternode, must have access to the linux server (strongly recommend VPS like Vultr, AWS, or Azure), must have basic linux command capabilities, and should have some extra time each week to update and install the software on the linux server.

March 1, 2018 - Estimated issue date for long term roadmap.
April 1, 2018 - Start of the Beta Program of the Masternode (Date May Not Be 100% Accurate)
Beta program participants will include all alpha participants and additional participants randomly selected from the group of users signing up for the beta.
Beta program participants will receive 5% of the address balance holding the Masternode portion of the gift block to avoid unfairly selected participants at random.
May 1, 2018 - Open Masternodes
All persons holding the required amount of Akroma (5K) will be able to setup the Masternode.
The first two days will continue to utilize 5% of the address balance that holds the Masternode part of the reward block.
On the third day after Masternodes opens live, the prize will be 6% of the total portion of the Masternode of the reward block, this will increase by 1% every day until the prize reaches 100%.
